Wrestling Interview With Christian Wrestling Alliance (CWA) Wrestler Josh Magnum. Josh is From Graniteville, SC. This Man Will Be A Big Star In The Future.

Interview Conducted By E L Farrell

First off Josh, I want to thank you for taking the time to do an interview today.

Q1:Josh. To start, how about giving the fans your statistics?

My stats. That is a tough one. Well I am 5'10" 185pds and from Graniteville, SC. As for wins n losses, I don't really keep up with that sort of stuff.

Q2:When did you begin wrestling?

I started in January of 2001. I don't want to sound like I have a ego (cause I don't) but they told me I was good enough and gave me my first match two months later.

Q3:What influenced your decision to become a wrestler?

I had been watching it and mocking it since I was a kid. I always wanted to be just like Hulk Hogan. Sometimes you will see me impersonate him in the ring. So I would have to say Hogan is my biggest influence.

Q4:You wrestle For Christian Wrestling Alliance (CWA). How did you become involved With The Promotion?

I really don't know. Another worker who runs Wrestling for Jesus named T-Money got us both booked there sometime last year. I remember I did two shows for them and then we drove 2 hours to Orangeburg for the CWA show.

Q5:What Wrestlers have been good to work with?

Well I must say Adam Owens. He is my travel partner and best opponent. But I will also say T-money, Rufio Rush, Sonny Landell, Greg "the hammer" Valentine, and got to be Xavier Knight.

Q6:What other sports or hobbies do you have an interest in?

Baseball. I used to play in High School and had the chance to play in college. Other hobbies on the other hand, I have two kids, so theres no time for hobbies. I love them more than anything.

Q7:Describe a typical day of training for you. What do you focus on the most?

In the weightroom I try to focus on doing every rep perfect to try an build the muscle the best I can. When I am training in the ring I don't even practice the high flying stuff, that comes natural. I try to practice mostly the mat work and the more submission type wrestling manuevers. You never can have to much practice and I still have a ways to go before I consider myself as good as I want to be.

Q8:What holds and moves are you best known for?

450 splash and the armdrag. I am not sure what else I can think of. If you watch some of my matches you will notice I do alot of the same stuff in every match. Them moves just come to me naturally.

Q9:What's the worst you've been hurt in the ring?

Well in the ladder match on June 3rd I did alot of crazy stuff and twinged my neck. When I woke up the next day the left side of my body was numb. Other than that alot of broken ribs and back problems.

Q10:Where and What Promotions have you wrestled so far?

Man if I only knew all the promotions I have worked for but I am always looking for new ones as well as going back to the old ones. I don't ever plan on leaving CWA. But I have been in talk with some Japanese organizations.

Q11:What sort of reaction do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?

They usually laugh because of my size. But then I show them a DVD and they usually shut up.

Q12:What is your most memorable professional moment?

Either working a tag match with Greg "the hammer" Valentine or the Ladder Match with Xavier Knight. Both of them I will never forget.

Q13:Who is your dream opponent?

I would love to work a singles with AJ Styles, Tokyo Magnum, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, or Shelton Benjamin.

Q14:If WWE called and offered you a developmental deal tommorrow, would you sign?

Can not answer that question. I would probably have to think about that one.

Q15:Any last comments you'd like to make?

Yea, I want to thank you for doing this interview. It lets my fans see what most of them will never see. I also want to thank the CWA for giving me the opportunity to do what I do. I also want to thank all of my fans. If it wasn't for ya'll wrestling would be nothing. I love all of ya'll and thanks again.

Thank You Josh.
