KASH: NOT KIDDING

Determination, dedication and commitment will get you a long way in the wrestling industry,as im sure Kid Kash will tell you. Kash made his wrestling debut in 1990,after two years of training by the legendary Stu Hart and Ricky Morton,he squared off against Wahoo McDaniel. He never gave up on his dream, working 14 hour shifts everyday as a welder followed by wrestling.Kash wrestled on the independent scene for six years. Under the ring name of David Jericho, he captured the Memphis Wrestling tag titles with Morton.

Kash travelled around Ecw and Wcw, before eventually settling down in the former in 1999. He teamed with Nova a good bit during his extreme adventure,Nova would also make his way to WWE in the future like Kash, under the moniker of Simon Dean, but to little success. Kash had great matches in Philadelphia, feuding with the likes of Ez Money, CW Anderson and Little Guido.

In 2000 he teamed with Rob Van Dam in the Ecw tag title tournament that was eventually won by Tajiri and Mikey Whipwreck. Later that year the Tennessee native would win the Ecw television title from Rhino. However ``the man beast`` would win it back soon after. Kash made an appearance on Ecw`s last pay per view,Guilty as Charged 2001,when teaming with Super Crazy they lost a triangle tag match.

2001, also saw Kash wrestle in Wcw for a short while with little or no impact. In 2002 he joined TNA, competing in the popular X Division. Kash claimed the X Division title with victory over Sonny Siaki in February 2003, before losing it to the Amazing Red two months later.Kash also held the TNA Tag Titles on two occasions with his partner Dallas (Lance Hoyt), withy the latter reign ended in June 2004 by America`s Most Wanted.Kash was then released vefore returning for almost a year and then he left again. He then made his way to the WWE developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling where he competed in the Ovw title tournament. He also interfered in the main event at Ecw`s One Night Stand, before taking on Tajiri in his debut on Heat. He made his WWE Pay per view dbut at Armageddon on December 18th 2005 where he captured the Cruiserweight Title by beating Juventud Guerrera. He would lose the title at the Royal Rumble in a 6 man battle royal, from which Gregory Helms emerged victorious and started his long reign.

After the loss, Kash teamed up with Jamie Noble and the pair competed against fan favourites form the Cruiserweight division.Kash and Noble brought back memories of the Pitbulls from Ecw with their actions and wearing dog collar antics. The couldn`t beat the tag champions on Smackdown,as Brian Kendrick and Paul London retained their gold. The tandem broke up when Kash left WWE in september 2006.

Kash is back wrestling on the Indy scene nowadays, after having made sacrifices to get to the top, no bigger sacrifice than competing the night when his Grandmother died.No one would have denied him the night off but in true sportsman style, he made sure the show went on.
