Mae Young Reveals The Shocking Opponent Stephanie MaMahon Promised She Could Wrestle On Her 100TH Birthday
In honor of JG's Radio Free Insanity's 100th edition, ClubWWI.com welcomed a woman who has promised to wrestle on her 100th birthday. That's right, in an interview long overdue, Mae Young has joined the Insanity. It's everyone's favorite WWE Diva and she had some amazing things to discuss in this rare 27 minute shoot.
Aside from topics like the point behind giving birth to Mark Henry's hand, stripping at the Royal Rumble 2000, being put through a table by the Dudleys, getting complimented by Strangler Lewis, and other wrestling achievements, Mae also talks about her friend Lillian "Moolah" Ellison and her final moments. The interview covers so much about Young's life and career on ClubWWI.com, but also includes a surprising announcement.
As we know, Mae is planning to wrestle on her 100th birthday. Originally planned to be Moolah and Mae, the plan is now for Young to step into a WWE ring on the day she turns 100 and wrestle.. But who? Mae Young reveals it now on ClubWWI.com:
"I tell you what. I have on my 100th birthday, an appointment to wrestle Stephanie McMahon's daughter, Aurora Rose and that's gonna be my opponent on my 100th birthday….Stephanie has already promised me that I can do that, so I'm gonna do that. I'll be there to do that."
On March 12th, 2022, get ready. It's Mae Young vs. Aurora Rose (who will be 17). Gear up because as the shoot ends, Mae tells all the fans to be there for it!
