Lizzy Valentine Interview

Today We Interview Wrestling Society X Superstar Lizzy Valentine.

Interview Conducted By E L Farrell

Sunday, January 7, 2007

My first question is how did you get into the wrestling business?

I always loved wrestling, and when I was 14 I decided that it's what I wanted to do with my life, so I started going to summerschool to gain extra credits. I graduated when I was 16, and started college at 17...and thats when i started going to wrestling school. My mom never approved of me wanting to do this, so i didnt even tell her. I knew that when i was in college i would have a better schedule to sneak around and do what i want. My mother was extremely strict, so this was the only way to go about it. I met with Johnny Rodz, but his school just wasnt the one for me. I met a couple of indy wrestlers online that told me about the doghouse, so thats where i ended up going.

Who was your favorite wrestler growing up and why?

My favorite was Shawn Michaels. He just had "it." He was the showstoppa! Hehe. He always had so much charisma, and was an awesome wrestler. My other favorite was Sunny. Shes the reason i got into the business. I really wanted to be just like her. I thought she was so pretty and had the best body, and had tons of personality.

You were trained by Homicide. What was it like to be trained by him?

Homicide is the best trainer in the world.

Who was your first ever opponent?

It was Trinity H. Cambell. The match was OK for my first match.

Who are your favorite opponents to wrestle?

I really like wrestling Morgan. Shes a great base, and we just click. I also like wrestling Erica Porter because shes a very solid worker, and offers alot.

You had a feud with the WWE's Mickie James aka Alexis Laree. What was it like to work with her?

Mickie is great to work with. Shes very old school, and is one of the classiest chicks i ever met. When i worked with her for the first time, i was the heel, so i didnt go out for intermission to sell merchandise. She came back after intermission and insisted i take half of her profit! You dont hear of that often!!

What was your best match in your opinion?

My 2 favorite matches were against Erica Porter and Malia Hosaka. They were good, solid matches.

You worked for TNA. Tell us about your time there?

I worked a couple of darks, and then teamed with Nurse Veronica as "Bytch Slap." We would always catfight with the cage dancers.

What titles have you held in your career?

My first title win was the KAPOW! womens championship, and my second was the UPW Womens championship.

What is your most memorable professional moment?

Wrestling for the troops in the middle east and alaska was definately the most memorable. Those were experiences that i was lucky enough to have at such a young age, and I will never forget it.

You are now part of MTV`s New Wrestling Promotion "Wrestling Society X" (WSX). Is there anything you can tell us about this new wrestling promotion and your involvement? Will you be wrestling?

WSX is really different from everything else out there. Its really young, fun and exciting. I am managing Matt Sydal on the show, and maybe down the line i will wrestle, but as of right now it is not set in stone.

Do you have any Hobbies or interests outside wrestling?

I love going on the internet, and watching old episodes of 90210, hehe. I also really like modeling, and helping different photographers expand their portfolios. I work out alot, and do yoga. I also enjoy teaching my doggy tricks.
